Triggs, editor of the Christchurch Tress, in an address to tho Canadian Club at Toronto, strongly urged the extension of intercourse between Canada and New Zealand. The latter was, doing her part by her preference tariff, and by establishing steamer communications with Vancouver and Montreal, and by, helping to place a branch of the Press Cable Agency at Vancouver.
