TO-DAY’S WEATHER.
The Rev., D. C. Bates’ forecast for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day is as follows; Northerly strong Winds to gale; expect unsettled and cloudy weather; very heavy rain may be expected ; rivers rising after 24 hours; glass fall; sea rough off shore; tides low. The director of the Meteorological Office advises: —Storm area approaching from between north and west: very heavy rain in many parts, and unsettled and stormy weather for several days.
