EGMONT SHOW.

Entries for the Egmont Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show on November 24 and 25 close to-night at 9 p.m. There are so many classes of all descriptions in cattle, sheep, horses, Sgs, dairy produce, and home indnsles that one should not fail to make a few entries at least. The Egmont Show is always a popular fixture and this year's show promises to be more than usually attractive. There are classes for all the prominent breeds of cattle, including Shorthorns, Herefords, Aberdeen Angus, Polled Durham, Holstein Friesan, Ayrshire, and the very popular Jerseys. . The sheep classes have been amply endowed with prise money and entries 'should be well up to the standard. The f horse classes promise to be more than ! usually attractive in quality this year, and with the advent of several prominent outsiders exhibiting the competition should be particularly keen. I The jumping classes should find ninny patrons. .The jumps are being slightly \ altered and from a competitor's point 'of view will be considerably improved. The milk testing competition for school children, which at the last show attracted such splendid entries, will be held on the grounds this year commencing at 11 o clock the first day. All information will be obtainable by ringing up telephone 173, or writing, to Vox 37, Hawera.
