NAVY LEAGUE.

Mr. C. W. Palmer, of Wellington, will arrive in Ne.w Plymouth by mail train to-night. His visit is on the invitation of the Taranaki branch of the Navy League. -The local schools will be visited during Monday, and in the evening an entertainment will be held at the Theatre Royal. Invitation to be present is extended to all who have the interest of the nation and support of the Navy at heart. The programme will consist, of display of slides, address by Mr. Palmer, and musical items. The dresa. circle will be reserved for ladies and their escorts.
