(Special to Herald.) PALMERSTON N., Nov. 12. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd. Palmerston North, report: —On Thursday an average yarding of stock met with good competition and - all classes sold readily at the following quotations: — Sheep. — Fat and forward wethers IGo 3d and 16s 4d, fat ewes 14s lOd to 16s 3d, fat and forward ewes 11s 2d to 13s 10d. ewe hoggets (rough) 11s 9d, wether hoggets 11s 4d, mixed hoggets 12s 6d, rough ewes and lambs 13s 6d to 14s, shorn wethers 9s lid, shorn fat ewes 10s 9d.
Cattle.— Fat cows £4 2s 6d, store cows £2 6s to £3, springing heifers £5 to £6 ss, two-year bulls £2 to £6, twoyear empty heifers £3 4s.
