CANTERBURY SHOW.

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 11. Fine weather was experienced for the second day of the A. and P. show-, and the attendance was larger than on the corresponding day of hut year. The gates amounted to £241, as against £201. R. D. D. M'Lean, E. KeTland, James Stevenson, William Grant, T. S. Little, E. Short, New Zealand and Australian Land Company, Canterbury Agricultural College, G. E. Rhodes, J. S^ringfellow, and Sir George Clifford secured championships in the various shtep classes. In cattle, championships were awarded as follow: — Shorthorn , bull and cow, Arthur Chamberlain ; Jersey bull and cow ; John Parlanc. Horses: — Draught entire: Horse, J. D. Wylie, champion and Lord Rothschild's cup ; Sidney Smith second. Dry mare : Robert Rainey.
