A NOTORIOUS CONVICT.
(Received Nov. 12, 9.25 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Nov. 12. King, the notorious negro convict, after attacking Warder Curtis, was placed in a straight jacket, but he managed to rid himself of it and attack Warder Sullivan with a cell pannikin, inflicting a nasty wound behind his car. King was eventually overpowered after a great struggle.
