In this running she will leave Wellington at noon on Tuesdays, Pkton same days. Nelson Wednesdays, New Plymouth Thumlays 'Onahunga (returning) Fridays, and New Plymouth Saturdays, arriving at Wellington Sundays. THE CORINNA. The Corinna left last night for Onehunga, where she is to load about 11,860 packages of butter and 200 packages of ehiese. KAITUNA LOADING. / The Union Company's cargo steamer Kaituna was to leave Dunedin tOHiay, for Oamaru. Timarn. Lyttelton. Wellington, Kaipara^and Sydney.lf safhcient cargo is offering: at the South Island ports and at Wellington for New Plymouth, the KaHunn will make a call at this port. If the cargo is not sufficient for the freight to cover port charges here, all cargo for New Plymouth will be transhipped at Wellington to the Rosamond, if that vessel is available for a special trip, and, brought up at direct rates. If the Kaituna does call here, it will be about Thursday. THE SOUNDS SZCURSIONS. Details of the routine of the two excursiotJV to the West Coast Sounds by the W^okare have been received by, the local office of the Union Company. The Waikare on bar first excursion to the West Coast Sounds win leave Dunedin on Thursday r December 28, and will arrive back on Wednesday, the 29th. On the second excursion she will leave Dmwdin cm Thursday, December 80, and wiU arrive back on Wednesday, January 5.' The route for both trips will be as follows:— From Dunedin to Preservation Inlet, then calls at Doubtful Sound, Hall's Arm, Crooked Arm, Bradshaw Sound and Gear Arm., Then proceeds to CtoorB» Sound, into North, East and South West Anns, retarning again, and proceeding on to Milford Sound, where she fcVdue about 4 or 5 p.m. ou the day appointed. The whole of the next day wfll be spent in sightseeing in various parts of Milford Sound. Th* Waikare is to l«av* Milford Sound in th* evening for Breaksea Sound, through Acheron Passage, visiting Wet Jacket Arm, and Dusky Sound, Supper Cove, and then returns, sailing from Dusky Sound in the afternoon for Dunedin, where she is due early next day. The Rarawa's departure for Onehunga on Monday evening will be delayed until midnight for the convenience of the PoHardOpera Company. Mr. T. B. Sewall. second officer of the Rosamond, was taken to a private hospital yesterday suffering from a recent injury to one of his legs. It is understood that the P. and O. line, when the new extension to Auckland takes place, will carry intercolonial passengers at the current rates.
