What is believed to be a deliberate nttempt to burn down Winter's store nnd bakery was discovered yesterday A quantity of paper was burned, and the wood-work caueht, but wnnt of air extinguished the fire, which would hnvp been a serious matter had it gof n firm hold. Winter only bad •* small insurance, and held a heavy stock.
