The Foresters' Hall, Gill Street, presented a cheerful appearance last evening on the occasion of the second anniversary of tho Hope of Egrnont Juvenile Temple (No. 24) 1.0. G.T. There was a large attendance of members and visitors. The Temple was opened in tho usual way by Bro. C. Crono, C.T., assisted by Bro. N. T. Maunder, S.J.W., and Bro. J. Tickner, assistant S.J.W. Bro. G. W. Hartnoll, C.T. of Egmont Lodge, and Rev. J. Guy were also on the platform. The following programme was rendered: Pianoforte bolo, "Miss M. Sole; songs (2), Miss Gilbert; recitation, Bro. L. Pepperell ; songs (2) Baden Moverley; recitation, Sister Winnie Hartnell ; song, Miss G. Blanchett; recitation, Sister I. Connett ; song, Sister A. Loeseh ; recitation, Bro. A. Pepperell. Tho superintendent, Bro. N. T. Maunder, read his report, - which stated that there had been a total of 102 boys and girls received Into membership, of which 13 had been j drafted into the adult lodge, 5 had re- (^ J^igned and left the district, and now the membership was 65. The aim of the order was to "reclaim tho fallen and save others from falling." Members and friends then adjourned to the supper room, where liberal refreshments had been provided . The singing of the Doxology brought a very successful meeting to a close.
