TOTALISATOR TICKETS

ALLEGED FORGERY AT AUCKLAND.

AUCKLAND, June 10. Something like £300 was obtained from th© totalisator at Ellerslie by forged tickets during the Auckland Racing Club's winter meeting. At the Police Court this morning, William Arthur Roberts and Emanuel Cyril Martin were charged with having forged and uttered totalisator tickets. The defence in both cases was that the tickets wore purchased by the defendants 'in the ordinary way. Both accused were remanded on bail.
