Messrs. L. A. Nolan and Co. report for week ending April 28 as follows: — Poultry. — We had a largo entry, nearly 200 birds being penned. There is a good demand for pullets and fat cockerels. Prices throughout were satisfactory. Wo qnato lions (ordinary) Is 7d to 2s 2d, pullets Is lOd to 3s Id, cockerels Is 3d to 2s 7d, according to weight, roosters Is 2d to Is 9d, ducks Is 3d to 2s, turkey hens 3s to 3s 3d, gobblers 5s 6d to 7s.
Fruit. — Apples, half-cases Northern Spy 3a 9d to 4s 6d, Ilawko's Bay ensos Us 6d to 6s 9d, bananas (greon) 7s 3d to Bs, grapes 9d and 10d lb., outdoor 5d and £Jd lb., tomatoes 2s 6d to 3s 6d, passion fritit 3s 3d to 3s 6d, small cases j quinces, small cases, 2s to 2s 6d ; pears, small cases, 33 to 4s Od, large 4s 6d to 8s 9d; lemons 8s to 8s Gd caso; oranges'6s to 7s 6d ease; pie melons 5s cwt. ; pumpkips 4s 3d cwt. ; onions 7s cwt.
