LAWN TENNIS.

TARANAKI V. AUCKLAND. The weather still keeps fine, and it promises to be a fine day on Saturday, when the annual interproyinGial fixture . between the Taranaki and Auckland, Associations takes place. Whatever the Taranaki men do in the singles, their doubles combination has been rather upset. Dickie and Wallace will undoubtedly account for Auckland's first pair, but will the others be . equally successful? "Volley" thinks not. Paton and JEE. Stocker), have all the arrangements in hand, and spectators should witness an interesting day's tennis. Play will commence in the morning, and will be continued throughout the day. Upson and Le Sieur (secretary of the Auckland Associatiflrts ' „J Mi ±j>
