JENKINSON AND COS TRAPS.
Messrs W. Jenkinson and Co.'s display of vehicles at the Agricultural Show, a short notice of which appeared in last evening's issue, contains some very choice vehicles. The "Bradley," made to the order of Mr W. Wilkes, of Waitara, is beautifully finished. It was greatly admired by a large number of visitors. The wheels and gear are painted in York red. striped with black. The body is painted jet black and the panels coach green, nicely picked out with red lines and beautifully varnished. The trimming is of green leather, ull handworked, nicely pleated. The wheels have Dunlop rubber tyres, and the body is suspended on three Dennett springs. The "Taranaki" gig, made to the order of Dr. Goode, of Waitara. is a very superior gig, varnished in natural wood. The body is made of I manga io, or New Zealand satinwood, and the back panel is of kohekohe. The trimming is of maroon leather, nicely pleated (all hand-worked). The "Bradley" made to the order of Miss Kqnnedy is similar to Mr Wilkes' gig, with the exception that it has steel tyres instead of rubber, and that the gear is painted green. The finish of i these gigs is excellent. Messrs W. Jenkinson and Co. are very enterprising. They have shown nineteen vehicles in a fine, large tent 85 x 30. The tent has been thronged with visitors on both clays.
