At the Eaymarket on Saturday pies, sold at from 6/ to 12/, horses-£2 to '"£3 15/ ' • ' At the raart fowls made- 7di to 1/2,, ducks 1/1 to 1/8, cheeße sid. A quantity of furniture and sundries made low prices. Cattle— At Stratford on Tuesday I had full yards and large attendance. Bidding was spiritless and a good many linea were passed in. Weavers made 10/ to 24/, good calves 26/ to 32/, 15 to 18 months steers £2 11/6*o £3 2 year steers £3 12/6 to' £3 16/6, heifers in calf £3 5/ to £3 10/, springing heifers £4 to £4 15/, store cows £2 to £3, forward cows £3 10/ to *>% fat cows £4 12/6 to £4 15/. At Rahotu on Thursday the yards were fairly filled and there, was a good attendance. Small calves made AA/o, yearlings £2 9/6, 18 months to 2 year steers £3 1/ to £3 8/, store cows £2 1/ to £3 2/, fat cows £4 10/ to £4 14/, woolly lambs (good) 10/10.
