The lists show that three officers and 23 men were- killed, 16 officers and 131 men wounded,* including Captain H. E. Hurst, of the Westtralian Mounteds, who was attached to the Royal Horse Artillery, severely. Tne Boers admit they lost 137 killed and wounded.
