MORE LIGHT FROM PRETORIA.
A SOLDIER'S STATEMENT. Received April 7, 9.20 a.m. London, April 6.— A soldier writing from Pretoria under date February 27th says that Handcocks and Morant were convicted on thirty charges, including shooting four surrenderors whom they robbed .of £4000. Tho latter killed a Sergeant for refusing to share in the plunder, fearing he would inform the authorities'.
