End of the Daily Mail offer.
The Daily Mail (London) announces in our columns to-day the final withdrawal of its " Enc^clopajdia Britannica" offer in New Zealand. This sale was underfaken a few weeks ago by permission of the London Times, and the period of the contract having been reached, no farther boobs can be Fold after to-day. We understand the sale has been most successful, exceeding that even of The Times distribution of the same work two years ago. A. novel feature of this new offer is an exlra volume compiled especially for the use of students and others, aud entitled, ".A Handbook of Systematic Readings in the 'Encyclopaedia Britannica.' " This volume forms a 26th, ami is sent gratis with all orders for the " Encyclopaedia." Much comment has been caused by the characteristic manner in which this offer of the lJ Encyclopaedia Britannioa" has been placed before the New Zealand public. This no doubt accounts for its marked success. To-day is the very last day, See announcement elsewhere.
