HASTINGS RAM FAIR.

I PEE PBE33 ASSOCIATION.] Napieh, February 1. — At the Hastings Ram Fair to-day, 1800 sheep were offered, making a record for Hawke s Bay. Lincolns were ia si rong force, but anything but firstclass EtuJs were neglected. The highest prire3 were 52 guineas for J. B. Sutton's, and 50 guineas for one of Wihon's (Waverley). Two others of Sutton'a brought 37 and 34 guineas. Leicester were represented only by a flock of rams, a few being quitted at fair pi ices. Shropshires were in demand, but owners' ideas of value in some instances exceeded those of buyers'. Ronineys were mostly quitted, but at low prices.
