ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
[per press association.J Woodville, September 15.— A boy, 3} years old, son of Joseph Abbott, Maharahara, was burnod to death on Friday night. His drens caught fire during the temporary absance of th-j mother, and the child was terribly injured about the body and face, and died at mid-day. The Kumaroa mail cart capiized on the Napier road yesterday afternoon. Messrs Floater, Pratt, and Sewolls, of Palmsrston, were p»ssen s ers. The former had his left wrist broken, and a lady passenger hud her leg injured. Hawera, September 15. — John Leslie, settler, Otakeho, was thrown out of his cart and killed last night.
