SUICIDE AT CHRISTCHURCH. Christchubch, April 12. Herbert Roll, staying at the A 1 Hotel, shot himself through tho head. He was aged 35, and it is believd he is well connected in England.

AN IMPORTANT WILL CASE. Donedin, April 11. The Supreme Court was occupied today with the case of Nelson v T. Murray in which the second wife of the late W. Nelson contests the will of deceased, who has left his property to be distributed among tbe children of his first marriage. Plaintiff was married in Nelson in 1890 when deceased was over 80, and she alleges he was of unsonnd mind when he executed the will. Forty witnesses will be examined.
