Messrs Nolan, Tonks & Co. roport as follows : — Our monthly sale at Opunako was held on March 7th. There was a good entry of young cattle and springing heifers, a good majority of which were disposed of — At Manaia, on March 9th, the yards were crammed with stock, considerably more than advertised being brought forward. The sale was well attended and bidding brisk. With a very stinall exception everything was sold at or after the auction.— Wo quote at Opunake: Calves 20a to 28a, weanera 35s to 375, yearlings (mixed) 455, 2-yeaf mixed sexes 565, 2 year steers £3 ss, 2 year heifers £3, store cows £3 12s ' t 6d, springers £4 15s to £6. Sheep : Forward condition ewes, 9s, woolly lambs 63 6d, Romney rams 24gs. — At Manaia : Yearling heifers 40s, 18ruonths to 2-year heifers 48s to 53s 6d, 2-year beigers £2 18a to £3 Is, store cows £3 7s to £3 12s, forward condition £3 17s, fat cows £4 3s to £4 10s, 2-year eteors £3 Cs to £3 10s, 2 j year steers £3 12a 6d to £4, 3-year bullocks £4 14s to £5 8a 9d. Sheep : cull lambs 2s 9d, 2 tooth ewes 9s 6d to lls 9d, breeding ewes (full mouth) 9a 5d to 9a Bd, wethers 10s 3d to lls 6d, fat wethers 12s, fat ewe 3 10s, Merino owes 3s 9d, rams 1 guinea.

I Fruit.— Bananas, 4d per lb ; cocoanuts, 2d to 4d each ; lemons, 2d each; oranges, Is to 2s por doz; pineapples, 6d to Is each ; apples, . 2d to 4d per lb; walnuts, Is per lb; rhubarb, 4d per bundle; tomatoes, 4d per lb; cucumbers, 4d te 6d each; plums, 6d per ft ; pears, 4d to 6d por lb ; grapes, 9d to 2a per lb ; peaches, 6d per lb; passion fruit, 6d pei dozen; quinces, 2d per lb, 81bs for Is. Vegetables. — Onions, 2d poi H> ; cabbages, Id to l£d each; cauliflowers, 2d eachj asparagus, Is per bundle; potatoes, Id por lb. Breadstuffs.— Bread, 7d per 41b loaf. Firewood, from 8s to 12s per load.
