POST OFFICE HOLIDAYS.
The 25th instant and Ist January are close holidays. On Boxing Day the office will be open from 9 am. to 10 a.m. On the evenings of the 24th and 31st instants, the office will be open from 7 to 8 p.m. for delivery of letters over the counter. Mails usually despatched on the days on which Christmas and New Year's Day fall will be closed the preceding nights at 7 o'clock. On Boxing Day the usual despatch up to 10 a.m., and there will be one complete delivery by letter carrier at 8 a.m. Sunday hours will be observed in the private box lobby on Christmas and New Year's Day. The Railway Travelling Post Office will run as usual. Telegraph Bbanoh.— Office houra on the 25th and 26th December and Ist January, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 7 p,m. to 8 p.m. F. D.
