Acceptances and general entries for Nos 2, 3, 5, and 8 close on Thursday, December 24th, at 8 p.m. The winner of any Handicap Race after the publication of the weights to carry a 7lb penalty. All nominations and entrances must bo sealed and addressed to the Hon Secretary, Pangarehu, with fees enclosed, and name, age, pedigree, and performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. Definition of a Hack. — A horse that has never won an advertised race (Hack and Hunter Races excepted), and is not nominated at time of start, and has not, during the sis months previous thereto, been nominated for any race (Hack and Hunter Races excepted). The Rules of Raciag, as adopted by tha Metropolitan Clubs in New Zealand strictly adhered to.
