AN UNSCRUPULOUS FOE.

Creeps upon us unawares lik« an assaesm in the dtirk and whose d«nsreror.s proximity we nevtr Bu?pcot nntil it makes <hp l<tst i'utaf clutch on some vital ors;an. We are always warned in anipte time of the imnendinir dsiifjor, but with criminal eireItssmss ueslect these warnings: That tired fi-eliuj, those aching; limbs, and that • grnnd feeling ooe day and seedy condition the next, the sf:ur taste on waking in a morning, find tbs frtqnent pick and splittiati lit-adac-hrp, pH n:ako tbeif debut before serionsilluesa vets in. All or any of these Bytnptums indicate the approach of disease, ihpy aro fuilhfnl sijius that the liver and ki-lneys are uot Hoinif their duties, that thi morbid aud effete raat'er ins-tead of btin* eliminated from tbe 6VBtcn?, is bein^ retained, and ispositiveh" poieoaiag end deetioying the whole phxfrical structurp. Neglect in such cases is criminal, re.coursa to rational treatment should be htid at once, Clsments Tohio Btiould be t'sken to strengthen the diges tion, purify and fortify tho Dtood, to 6titnu!att* the liver and brace up the kidneys, to resolve and eliminate the poisonous urea. Liver and kMney complaints are the most prevalent diseases of this country, and so long as we consume such large qnantitics of animal food and condiments, and drink so treely of tea and stiainlants, so lon^ will this unhealthy condition last. It is this mode of life that caoses such' numbers of deaths from heart disease, Bright^ diseaso dropsy, cancer, inflammation and enlargement 06 the liver, iiud similar causes, all of wliicb herald their approach by feelings of latitude, headache, languor &c, and if prompt treatment at once is adopted by a regular uso of Clem^nt3 Tonic, the progress of disease is arrehted, the stomach, liver and kidnejs resume their normal action and tho poison ou-j accumulations are expelled tbesvsUm and normal health is restored. That Clements Tonio is reliable is proved beyond all question and we have grateful beneficiaries in every town and village who are continually writin? us in terras similar to Ihe following :— St. Leonards, Sydney, — Dsar sir, — I can with p!«a6ore bear wiinf-sa to the great relief: I have received f :ora the osa of Clemests Tonio and Dr. Fletcher's Pills. I have been a great sufferer for 11 years from liver disease, with ut times considerable enlargement, which caused a swelling in the side under the ribs and was very painful, the abdomen, bowels, &c, always felt very tender on pressure, with most obstinate constipation for which I took Fletcher's Pills, the first dose caused a copious evacuation and save great relief, and I thought I was all right, but after a w.eek I was os bad again as before, I' again had recourse to Fletcher's Pills but I took Clements Tonic as well this time and continued it for a couple of months, after tbe first dose I felt better and got rid of all the symptoms 1 used to have, aa flushings of beat and cold, splitting headaches, pains in the side and small of the back, extreme lassitude, and the generallfeeling. of ' allright to day, seedy to-morrow, 1 all these symptoms with mauy others I used to have, but now thanks to Clements Tonic lam quite cured. I can get up in a morning refreshed by the night's rest and can eat a good breakfast, whereas before taking tbe medicine I scarcely ever could eat anything, and when 1 did it nearly alwayß made me vomit, but now I am quite well and have been so for 5 months, I have no cause to fear a relapse. I ;""on't tnin I your publishing my caee if you add nothing to it, as it may bring relief to similar sufferers. — Yours very truly, H. Garkell."
