THE TOLLGATE QUESTION. Wellington, March 2S. The two tollgates and tollhouses erected yesterday at Ngahauranga were completely demolished last night by a crowd of about 100, in spite of the fact that two policemen were told off to keep guard. One of the gates was thrown into the ISTgahauranga creek, and the other into the harbor. Both tollhouses were wrecked, one being turned upside down and thrown into tho creek, and the other cast into the harbour.
