Definition of a Hack : — Any horse that has not won an advertised race of over £30 in value. All nominations, entries and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary amount must he addressed to the Secretary and left at the White Hart Hotel, New Plymouth, not later than 9 p.m. on the advertised dates of closing. Full particulars of colours, age, and performances, moat be forwarded with the nominations. Five, per cent, will be deducted from" the gross amount of the Stakes.
