Definition of a Hack : — Any horse that has not won an advertised race of over £30 in value. All nominations, entries and acceptances, accompanied by tne necessary amount must b© addressed to the Secretary and left at the White Hart Hotel, New Plymouth, not later than 9 p.m. on the advertised dates of closing. Full particulars of eolonre, age, and performances, most be forwarded with the nominations. Five per oent. will be deducted from tbe gross amount of the Stakes.
