Melbourne, November 25. Parliament was prorogued this afternoon by Sir William Robinson, the Acting-Governor. In his speech from tho throne ho said that Federation was inevitable, and there was a reasonable hope that with Federation the Colonies would be able to join in securing complete organisation, without sacrificing any of the results already achieved. Sydney, November 26. Sailed: Wakatipu, for Wellington. Parliament was opened this afternoon. It is expected it will be a short session, dealing principally with financial questions, and will probably be prorogued towards the end of next month.
