APPEAL COURT. Wellington, October 28. The Appeal Court was opened this morning, when Judges Richmond, Denniston, and Williams were present. There are hfteen cases on the list, but three or four will not come up. ENGLIBH MAIL STEAMERS. The Alameda, with English mails of sth inst., left Frisco for Auckland ou the 21st, two days late ; the Mariposa, with colonial mails of 7th inst., arrived at 'Frisco, from Auckland, on the 26th instant, contract date.
