REVOLUTION in MOROCCO HORRIBLE OUTRAGES COMMITTED.
[per press association.] Tangiebs, September 12. — A revolution broke out at Morocco to-day. The populace attaoked and looted houses. The European residents then made their way to the palace of the Salt an, where they effected an entranoe and a desperate hand to hand encounter between the body guard of the Sultan and the mob ensued. Sultan Muley Hassan fled from the palace whilst the affair was at its height, and order was not restored until the arrival of the ) mperial troops, who drove the rebels | back to town. It is believed that several of the European residents were killed in the earlier stages of the outbreak. Upon news reaching this place the foreign warships landed armed parties here to protect the Europeans, and to quell any disturbance that might arise.
It is reported that dating the revolution outrages rivalling in horror the Bulgarian atrocities -were committed by the inflamed populace.
