PIBE IN AUCKLAND, Auckland, September 28. A fire in Wellington-street this morning destroyed a shop occupied by MoNamara (grocer) and two cottages (occupied by John Mallet and Win. Robertson), all belonging to James Lyell. The fire originated in the shop. The insurances are — Buildings, £225 in the South British ; stook and furniture, £200 in the Royal. IONIC ARRIVED AT WELLINGTON, Wellington, September 28. The s.s. lonio, from London, arrived at 8 o'clock this afternoon. BAILWAY STATION BUHST DOWN. Chirstohukcd, September 28. The rajlway station at Darfield, on the Malvern line, was burned down at 2.80 a.m. The cash only was saved. The cause is not known.
