[from our own correspondent.] October 8. — The School Committee met on Thursdey. Present: Messrs. Roebuck (chairman), Daley, Eustace, JuliaD, and Hudson. Attention was directed to the appointment of a sewing mistress, when the appointment ot Mies M. Sefton was recommended. It was resolved, "That the compulsory clause be put into force, after one final notice to certain delinquents." It is to be hoped that many other inegular attendants will take warning, ond thus save further trouble. It was ■greed that the annual school picnic be held on tbe 9th November.
