SmvEY, February 4. The Colonial Treasurer brought lown his Budget in the Legislative Assembly to-night. He estimates a lefioit for the ourrent year of nearly £1,704,000. It ia proposed to levy a tax of a halfpenny in the pound on real estate, capital of all Banks and dividend-paying Companies, and all descriptions of goods stored. It is probable the duties will also be increased. Mr. Burns expects to realise £650,000 per annum from the projected new taxation. The Colonial Treasurer (Mr. Burns) also announced that it was the intention of the New South Wales Government to place a new loan on the London market in May or June next. Mr. Heydon, Minister of Justice, has resigned office, owing to hi 9 disapproval of the projected property tax. Sydney, February 5. Sailed (this afternoon): Hauroto for New Zealand. _
