The "Woodstock election took place to-day, when Lord Randolph Churchill was re-elected by a majority of 187. The whole of the members of the Ministry have now been returned by their constituents. HEW HEBRIDES TRADING COMPANY. London, July 4. A syndicate is projected in London for the purobase of the interests of the New Hebrides Trading Company. REBELLION IN AFGHANISTAN NOT CONFIRMED The news of the rebellion of Isakhan against the Governor of Khunduz, in Afghanistan, has not been confirmed. ROWING CHALLENGE MATCH, An Australian gentleman offers to back Beach to row any man in the world; also to match an Australian orew against a British crew for £1000. WHEAT CARGOES. Two Australian wheat cargoes have been sold — one by an iron vessel at 858., and one by & wooden vessel at three halfpence lower. NAVAL COMMANDER. Captain A. F. Dale, of H.M.S. Diamond, has been appointed Commander of H.M.S. Devastation. SALISBURY GOVERNMENT ARRANGED TERMS WITH RUSSIA, It is rumoured that the Salisbury Ministry have arranged terms with Eussia. 'FRISCO MAIL DELIVERY. The New Zealand mails, dated Auckland, May 26th, via San Fran oisco, were delivered here yesterday. SIR PETER LUMSDEN DECORATED. It is announced that Sir Peter Lnmsden, British representative on the Afghan Frontier Delimitation Commission, has had the Grand Cross of the Bath conferred upon him. GUARDS LEFT FOR CYPRUS. The Guards, who have been at Alexandria for some weeks past, have now left that place, and have proceeded to Limasol, in Cyprus. NAPIER HARBOUR LOAN. Tenders are invited on behalf of the Napier Harbour Board for a loan of £800,000, at 5 per cent., the minimum for which has been fixed at par. Tenders will close on July 13th. CHOLERA IN SPAIN. Madbid, July 4. The cholera scourge continues to rage with great violence. The number of cases reported throughout the country this week is 9,000, of which 4,000 had a fatal termination.
