LARRIKISISM.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — As there are several reasons given as the cause of. the number of larrikins in this place, one of the causes given is thai the parents are very religious people ; another reason stated is the want of a free reading-room. As to the first cause given, Ido not beiieve it. Now, as the reason given to be the want of a free readingroom, sir, how is it that in Melbourne, Auckland, and other large towns where they have free reading-rooms, larrikins are a terror to society in those places. — I am, &c, The Boy in the Bush.
