Later information from Ohinemuri is of a more satisfactory character. Hopes are entertained that the offenders will be orrested by the ordinary process of the law, aud without recourse to force.
The action of the Government agents iv connection with tho purchase of the block which these Ngatihakos claim will be investigated. Rewi has sent some of his men to watch the crossing-places into the King country, if a retreat is made by the offenders in that direction.
