ACCLIMATIZATION. Auckland, September 1. At a meeting of the Acclimatization Society, the Secretary announced tho arrival of brown troub from the South in good coudition, which were placed in the Pokeno River.
MOIUUN'S STAPLES BURNT. Auckland, September 2. Mr. Samuel Morrin's stables at Liemuora were burnt down early this morning. They were insured in the South British for £300 ; loss £800.
Tug Gorman army has been increased considerably by 23,000 reoraita.
