The Home News reports, under date 18th April, that hemp has declined £4 to £5. Since January, the sales have been up to £31. Crade sperm oil, £94 to £95. Imports of tallow for the month of Maroh was exceedingly light. The quantity of coal was not heavy. Leather market dull, and prices likely to rule low. The May wool sales opened with 15,736 bales afloat. Stocks in consumers' hands low. There is a slight falling off in preserved meats.
