THE TARANAKI STEAM NAVIGATION COMPANY, (Limited).

The first general meeting of the Taranaki Steam Navigation Company, (Limited), was held in the Taranaki Institute, on Monday evening last, when W. Halse, Esq., was called to the chair. After a few preliminary remarks from the Chairman on the objects of the meeting, Mr. F. L. Webster proposed and Mr. E. Dorset seconded, "That Messrs. W. Bayly, jun., D. Bayly, H. J. Honeyfield, W. F. Hoskin, S. Joll, C. Sampson, and W. Tate, be directors for the ensuing twelve months." — Carried. Mr. C. Samppon proposed and Mr. W. D. Webster seconded, "That Mr. F. Ronalds be auditor," which was carried. During the meeting it was stated that at the end of June the accounts showed a profit to the Company.
