THE TARANAKI HERALD Is published at New Plymouth every Saturday morning, and is generally circulated th oughout the Province of Taranaki. It is also forwarded to various parts of the world, snd is filed at Lloyd's, at Mr George Street's, 30, Cornhill, and at Mr F. Algar's, 11, Clement's Lane, Lombard street, London. Subscribers can only resign at the end of a Quarter. TERMS OF ADVERTISING. Eight lines (or less) of space, 2s. 6d. ; 3d. each additional line for the first insertion of all advertisements ; half-price for eaoh subsequent insertion. Advertisements should have specified on the face of the manuscript the number of times for which they are intended to appear, otherwise they will be inserted till countermanded, and charged accordingly. Orders for withdrawal or alteration of advertisements should be left at the office not later than 6 p.m. on Thursday, to ensure certainty of their being attended to for the publication on Saturday. The insertion of advertisements received after 6 p.m. on the day previous to publication will not be guaranteed. A liberal discount will be allowed on standing advertisemenis.fi H.
