Commissariat, Taranaki, 28th September, 1860. LENDERS, in duplicate, will be receivX ed at this Office until noon on Tuesday the 2nd proximo from persons willing to contract for the delivery of a caigo, about 200 tons, of the best quality of Newcastle agricultural screened COAL. The vessel to be in the roadstead on or before the 30th November next. Bags will be provided by the Department but they must be filled and properly secured by and at the expense of the Contractor. The coal will be taken from alongside in boats provided by the Department, but the actual quantity to be ascertained by weighing at the Coal Depot on shore. The signatures of two persons will be required to a guarantee on the Tender for the true and faithful performance of the contract should it be accepted. H.
