UEii.ALDLNM .STOCK SALE, There was only a small yarding, but a large' attendance, at the Heralding live stock' sale on Wednesday. Improvements were shown in the prices for fat sheep, while stores were on a par with lata rates. Pigs, which were in keen demand, sold well. Dairy cows close to protit also sold well. J’riees were as follows: Sheep.— Fai wethers: Hi at 25s od, II at lbs (id, -It) hoggets at 13s lid: fat ewes: IN at ISs Id, 1G at 17s lid: stores: 107 hoggets at. 10s, ID at ss, (i at Ns. 73 at Fls Id, Hi 2 tooth wethers at lbs lid. (! 2toolh wethers at His Gd. 12 at 15s, 10 1 and a-year cross-bred ewes at F>s. 31 I) and N-tooth wethers at ISs lid.
