HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS. AT TEMUKA. New Year’s Day (Ist January, 1930) will be observed as a close holiday in the postal and telegraph branches. All mails will close at 7,30 a.m. There will be no postman’s or rural delivery. The telephone exchange will be open from 9 to 10 a.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m.
