HILTON SCHOOL.
PICNIC AND PRIZE-GIVING. On Thursday last the Hilton School picnic was held on Caroline Bay. Although the day was dull, a very enjoyable time was spent. Children’s sports were run off in the early part of the afternoon, and the prize-giving took place at four o’clock. Mrs Winmill handed the. prizes to the children, and afterwards Mr Winmill, the chairman, called for cheers for the teachers, Miss Hewson and Miss Hall. Miss Hewson thanked the committee for their very hearty support throughout the year, .and the parents for their co-operation.
