The installation of Bro. P. McCaskill as G.M. of the Masonic Lodge St. George, T muka, took place on Wednesday night In the unavoidable absence of the Grand Lodge Officer?, tie ceremony was impressively performed by P M. Bro. Audersou, with asaisiance of visiting P.M.'s. Other officers invested were—Bro. r >. McC.iskill, S.W. ; Bro. F. J. fleatley, J.W ; Bro. D Grant, D.C.; Bro. M. McLeod, secretary ; Bro F. A. Butterfield, Treasurer; Bro. Mahan, S.D.; Bro. M McLaod. JD. ; Bro. G. Higgiubothom,l.G.; Bro E. Chap man, Tyler, After the ceremony a banquet was held iu the Temuka Hotel, where Host Rainbow provide 1 a really excellent spread. The W.M. presided, aud the usual patriotic and Masonic toasts were duly honoured. The banquet concluded shortly after midnight.
