The Canterbury Farmers' Co-operative Association, Limited (per Mr J. Mundell, auctioneer), report on the horse market at I'attersall's yards, on Saturday : —Our entries comprised 49 horses, cow, implements, harness, etc. Tho demand for young farm horses continues good aud all of this class yarded sold at satisfactory prices. On account of Mr F. McCallum, Flag Swamp, Otago, we sold 10 exceptionally good draught mares and ueldiugs at prices ranging from £lO to £2O. Our quotations for the day are as fcl'ow: —Draughts, young with trial, £ls, £lO, £lB 10s, £2O, £22 to £23 ; do. light and aged, £9 to £ll ; light harness sorts, £7 tc £10; hackneys £4 to £7, weeds aud scrubbers, no sales to report. Cow in profit, £6. Implements and harness at satisfactory prices.
