London, Jan. 19. The French Cabinet approve of the appointment of Riaz Pasha as the Egyptian Premier. The Times congratulates the country that the rash attempt to force England’s hand in Egypt was successfuly repelled. The Daily News calls it a complete and genuine triumph. Cairo, Jan. 21. Takhir Pasha has received a high court appointment from the Khedive, and a decoration, to console him for his disappointment. The French press are fermenting an anti-English feeling here, and so far the Khedive has taken no action to repress it, St. Peteesurg, Jan. 20. The Russian Press demand an explanation from Great Britain for her conduct towards the Khedive.
