Miss Margaret Armstrong, who has been visiting Raetihi, has returned to Waitotara. ... Miss O. Couper, who has been visiting Oroua Downs :and Wellington, has returned. Miss Eva Parkinson, with Mr. H. W. Hurley, flew to Wellington last Tuesday, returning on Thursday. Mrs. Bacon, who has been the guest of Mrs. D. Blackie, has returned to Wellington. Miss Gladys Fitzgerald, who underwent an operation for appendicitis recently, is making good progress. . Mrs. C. Handley, Nukumaru, visited Hawera last week for the golf tournament. Mrs. Broderick, Maxwell, was the guest of Mrs. Winks for the tournament. The Waitotara School reopened on Monday after the spring holidays. . Members of the Waitotara Bowling Club formed a “working bee” during the week-end on improvements to the green.
