LITTLE THEATRE PLAYERS

READING OF SPANISH PLAY.

The New Plymouth Little Theatre Players read last night ‘‘The Women Have Their "Way,” a Spanish play translated by H. Granville Benker. Members taking part were: Misses N. Griffith, M. Allen, R. Gentles, K. Morey, A. Gentles, H. Horrax, B. List, B. Ryburn, Messrs. G. Macallan, W. E. Alexander, K. P. Tompkins, T. Wright, V. G. Cooper and I. C. Beckbessinger. At the conclusion of the reading, Mr. K. P. Tompkins, in the absence of the president, Mr. J. Quirk, announced the production of a J. B. Priestley play, “The Roundabout,” at New Plymouth in July. Mr. Lee, of the Napier Repertory Society, gave an interesting talk on the technique of play-reading.
